Jeremy Lange

One of the most compelling elements of photography is its ability to capture in detail a single moment. In literally a fraction of a second a photograph captures the feeling of that moment in its imperfect perfection. We pass by these moments every day, usually to busy to notice. These are the moments artist Jeremy Lange strives to capture and the feeling they convey.

Jeremy's other passion is enjoying the outdoors. The wilderness offered a classroom where Jeremy studied light and its content in the environment. In an effort to bring what Jeremy found in the woods to other kids, the proceeds from the sales of his work will be donated to Big City Mountaineers, a non profit that specializes in offering underprivileged kids an opportunity to experience the outdoors by taking them on backpacking trips, with a mentor to child ratio of 1:1. It was through similar means that Jeremy had moved passed similar misfortune and is trying to give to others what was given to him.
